The Vineyard- December 16, 2012

The Vineyard
I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5

Luke 1:39-56
-          Why does John leap in Elizabeth’s womb?  What is this meant to signify?
-          What does Elizabeth say that Mary is blessed among women?  What special role will Mary play in history?
-          In her song of praise, how does Mary characterize herself?
-          What are some of the different actions attributed to God in Mary’s song?
-          In her song, Mary says that the birth of her child will be a fulfillment of a promise.  How far back does that promise go?
