Rebekeh had received the oracle
concerning Jacob’s supremacy over Esau.
However, Isaac had either never heard about it, or refused to accept it,
because he seeks to make Esau supreme.
Why is it critical to discern the will of God together?

It’s possible that Rebekeh didn’t
communicate the oracle concerning Jacob to Isaac. We know that Isaac didn’t communicate his
intentions concerning the blessing to Jacob.
How are problems avoided when we communicate effectively?

Jacob uses dishonesty to gain the
blessing of his father. How might Jacob
of done things differently?
Pray that we will seek to discern
God’s will together, so that we can work together towards the same goal.
Consider how you might better
communicate with others.
Pray for the integrity to be honest
in all things.
