Welcome to the blog of the Glenmora Church of Christ, in Glenmora, Louisiana. Whether you are a part of our church family or a friend from miles away, we hope that you will follow this blog as a means of celebrating with us all of the ways God is at work in our community. Our goal is to share with you reflections on what we have learned from God's word in recent weeks, information on upcoming events, updates on those in need of our prayers, as well as reports of praise for those whose prayers have been answered! Additionally, we hope to share lots of pictures so that you will be able to actually SEE the many ways that God continues to bless us through worship, study, and wonderful friendships. An Exciting Week Ahead!

We have much to be thankful for here this week at the Glenmora Church of Christ.
First of all, we had 118 at worship this morning to kick off our Revival and VBS, one of whom was Marie Cook, who is feeling somewhat better after her stay in the hospital earlier this week.
Sonny Childs brought two great messages from Galatians 6 to start things off, and in between them we enjoyed some of the best cookin' around.
We hope you will join us this week for VBS from 9 am- Noon Monday throug Thursday, and for evening worship at 7 pm Monday-Wednesday.  There truly is something for all ages!
In the photostream you will see some photos of all the preparation done by Sonny's MAP team for VBS, and I have also included a few in this post.  I will try to update the blog with new pictures each day so you can follow along with the kids in their journey.
