The Vineyard
I am the vine; you are the
branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit,
for apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5
Matthew 28:16-20
Pray for God to speak to you through
the reading of His word.

Baptism
o
How does baptism identify us with
the life of Christ?
o
Many people think of baptism as a
type of wedding ceremony, a way that we make vows to be faithful to
Christ. How faithful have you been to
the commitment you made at baptism?
-
Christ’s Commandments
o
Jesus said that becoming a disciple
is a process that involves baptism, AND learning his commandments. When you were baptized, did you make a
commitment to learn and follow the commandments of Christ?
o
If you never followed through with
learning and following the commandments of Christ, what can you do to rectify
that?
Pray that we will always remember
our baptism, and the fact that we are now identified with Christ’s death,
burial, and resurrection.
Pray that we will be true disciples,
and commit ourselves to learning and following the commandments of Christ.
