Jesus was Obedient
o
Why do you think Jesus was willing
to be obedient, and suffer such pain and humiliation for us?

Jesus was Vindicated
o
Jesus was vindicated legally by the
fact that Pilate said he could not find him guilty, and yet the world still
crucified a totally innocent man. Jesus
was vindicated by God when he was raised on the third day. Have you ever suffered, even though you were
innocent? Do you trust in God for your
vindication?

Choosing the Right Light
o
The world is a very dark place at
times. What is your response to the
darkness of this world? Do you try to
create your own light, your own answer to the problems we face? Or, do you rely on the light of God, the only
eternal and perfect light?
Pray that we will be obedient to
God’s will, just as Jesus was.
Pray that we will trust in God to
vindicate us, rather than seeking revenge for ourselves.
Pray that we will choose the light
of God, over the light that the world tries to make.
