The Vineyard
I am the vine; you are the
branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit,
for apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5
Genesis 22:1-19
Pray for God to speak to you through
the reading of His word.

The Absurdity of Faith
o
Do you recognize the conflict
between the world’s logic and faith in God?
If you don’t see a conflict between the two, ask yourself, “then why
does faith matter?”
-
God as Giver and Provider
o
Do you truly understand that God has
given you everything you have received, and that He will provide for your
future?
-
God’s Power as Giver and Provider
o
Do you live in a way that
demonstrates your trust in God? Do you believe
God has the power to resurrect you both physically and spiritually?
-
God Leads By Example
o
God asks Abraham to sacrifice Isaac,
but ultimately he stays Abraham’s hand.
However, when it came time to sacrifice His own Son, God follows through
and makes the ultimate sacrifice. How
does remembering God’s sacrifice of Jesus, help put the sacrifices God asks you
to make in perspective?
Pray for a faith like Abraham’s,
that willingly lays everything on the altar.
