The Vineyard
I am the vine; you are the branches.
Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart
from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5
Sin
Pray that God will speak to you
through the reading of His word.
-
The Problem
o
Who does the problem of sin
affect? How do our sins affect
others? How others sins affect us?
o
What is the problem of sin? What are some of the things that we worship,
that fall short of the glory of God?
o
Why are we tempted to sin? What makes the lies we believe that lead us
into sin so attractive?
-
The Solution
o
Who is the only one capable of
redeeming us from the problem we have created because of our sinfulness? Why is Jesus the only one who can save us?
o
What was it that Jesus had to do so
that we might be forgiven? What price
did He have to pay?
o
Why is the “freedom” the world
offers insufficient? What are the wages
of sin? What is the free gift of God?
Ask God to cleanse our hearts of our
sinful nature.
Praise God for sending Jesus to be
the solution to our sin problem.
