The Vineyard
I am the vine; you are the
branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit,
for apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5
I Corinthians 15:50-58
Pray for God to speak to you through
the reading of His word.
Read the passage.

We must all change
o
“Flesh and blood” cannot inherit the
kingdom of God because it is temporal, while the kingdom is eternal. Perhaps not only our physical bodies, but
also our attitudes and ways of thinking must change to suit life in God’s
kingdom. How can you change your
attitude and way of thinking so that it is focused more on the eternal rather
than the temporary?
-
The surprise is the best part
o
We love a good surprise- in the
books we read, the movies we watch, surprises build excitement as we see how
everything builds to the final scene.
Are you excited about seeing how God will transform us when Jesus comes
back?
-
Resurrection is work
o
While God handles all the work of
resurrecting us and transforming us for eternity, the implications of the
resurrection mean work for us who profess to follow Jesus. Is your life a testimony to God’s plan of
redemption? If not, what changes do you
need to make?
Pray that God will transform our
hearts in anticipation of the day when our bodies will be transformed as
well.
Seek ways to demonstrate your belief in the
resurrection.
